Hi! I'm Sofie Janssen
Sofie Janssen is a passionate creative artist and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a Minor in Interior Architecture at the University of Tennessee. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Janssen moved to Knoxville, TN, in 2021 to attend college. She comes from a multicultural background and enjoys exploring her Dutch and African American heritage through her work. Janssen believes in the power of design to develop sustainable and accessible communities by integrating interior architecture, architecture, and landscape design.
Johnson is a current member of AIAS, a class representative for NOMAS, and an ambassador for UTK COAD. She also proudly serves on the student board for Student Disability Services. In her free time, she practices photography, admires street art, travels abroad, and plays with her faithful golden retriever, Oakley.
